Subcontractor Requirement Summary:

  • License and permit – Subcontractor must be licensed as a contractor under the Contractors Licensing Laws, or its equivalent, of the state and/or local jurisdiction in which the Project is located.  Subcontractor shall obtain required permit(s) from Authority Having Jurisdiction. 
  • Insurance – Prior to starting Work, the Subcontractor shall procure and maintain in force, Workers’ Compensation Insurance, Comprehensive General Liability Insurance with contractual coverage and Automobile Liability Insurance and such other insurance, to the extent required by the Subcontractor’s Work.
  • Immigration - Subcontractor understands and agrees that it is responsible for ensuring compliance with the both the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 (“IRCA”) and Immigration and Nationality Act of 1990 (“INA”). Subcontractor agrees to fully comply with all verification requirements for all employees and shall avoid knowingly hiring or continuing to employ persons unauthorized for employment.
  • Laws  - Subcontractor shall comply with all Federal, State, and local laws, including Social Security, Unemployment Compensation, Workers’ Compensation, and Immigration.
  • Safety – Subcontractor shall comply with all applicable standards, maintain their own safety program, and adhere to policies set forth by Contractor.
